ppp-user v0.95: Users can handle PPP easily

-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----

Hello,

I'd like to announce version 0.95 of ppp-user, a program to let users easily
handle PPP connections.

The differences to v0.9 are:

- - Respects /etc/ppp/options if existent.

- - Waits for PPP link to be established before it returns (unfortunately not
working on non-Linux systems due to lack of useable /proc filesystem)

The program can be obtained on:

ftp://rhlx01.rz.fht-esslingen.de/pub/ppp/ppp-user-0.95.tar.gz
ftp://rhlx01.rz.fht-esslingen.de/pub/RPMS/i386/ppp-user-0.95-1.i386.rpm
ftp://rhlx01.rz.fht-esslingen.de/pub/SRPMS/ppp-user-0.95-1.src.rpm

So long,
Nils

1. ppp-user - Users can handle PPP easily

-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----

I'd like to announce the ppp-user package in its first public version
0.9 which provides the "ppp" program. It is simply a really small
frontend for pppd in order to make the handling of PPP connections
available for the mortal user.

It can be obtained on ftp.fht-esslingen.de in

/pub/linux/saug/ppp/ppp_user-0.9.tar.gz

or as RPM/SRPM in

/pub/linux/saug/SRPMS/ppp-user-0.9-3.src.rpm
/pub/linux/saug/RPMS/i386/ppp-user-0.9-3.i386.rpm

Try it and please mail any comments to me (especially concerning
security, it's my first setuid C-program)

Bye, Nils
