-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----

This is to announce the effort to start a Linux Users Group (LUG) in
North San Diego County. We are presently trying to get a feel for the
amount of interest that people in this area would have for that. If you
think you would like to attend a meeting once a Linux month in San Diego

Thank you very much for your time. Out first meeting will be announced
here soon.

1. LOCAL: San Diego North County Inland - May 8 Installfest

-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----

This will be the 2nd installfest of the Kernel Panic Linux Users Group.

When: Thursday, May 8 (2nd Thursday of month)
Where: Cathedral of the Valley Foursquare Church
927 Idaho Ave (NW corner of San Pasqual Valley Rd and Idaho)
       Escondido, CA

Bring a computer to install Linux on.  We also need people with experience
installing Linux to help and, of course, Linux CDs and some floppies.  And
if you just like to schmooze with other Linux folk, we need you, too.

If you plan on bringing in a machine, it would be very helpful if you

what version of Linux you wish to install. Info on video cards, sound
cards, non-ide or non-scsi CD-ROMS, etc., is especially important.

For more info see our web page at http://www.kernel-panic.com.
