Anyone know where I can get the STREAMS DLPI spec?

Does anyone know where I can get hold of the STREAMS DLPI interface
specification?  Also, what about the TLI interface spec?

Thanks,

Brendan

Specification can be obtained from Unix International, but they
might be newer versions (i.e., under development) than the software
out in the real world currently uses.  Check out "Unix System V
Release 4.2 STREAMS Modules and Drivers" published by Prentice-Hall
for versions that correspond to existing implementations.

Anonymous ftp to ftp.ui.org and in the pub/osi directory are PostScript
copies of the DLPI, NPI, and TPI specs.

DLPI spec is available from Unix International.  Their USA phone
number is 1-800-848-6495, or 1-201-263-8400.  Fax is 1-201-263-8401.
Office in Belgium is (32)2-672-3700, fax (32) 2-672-4415.

The XTI spec (the "official" TLI) is available from X/Open.
I don't know how to get in contact with them.  You may want
to consider reading (if you haven't already) the Network
Programming guide that comes with SysV Unix.  It explains
how to program with TLI.

I think you can find DLPI and TPI in the following books:

SVR4.2 STREAMS Modules and Drivers, UNIX Press, ISBN 0130668796
UNIX System V Network Programming, Stephen Rago, Addison-Wesley,
ISBN 0201563185, 1993

You can find it from the manpage of your SVR4 box. :-)

1. Does anybody know where to get LM/X & DLPI specs

I'm trying to get a copy of the Lan Manager X and DLPI
(Data Link Provider Interface).  Is there anyone out there
who knows where I can get a copy.

I've got calls into Microsoft, but no one has got back to me.

Thanks in advance
