TLI <--> SOCKETS conflict ? HELP !

TLI <--> SOCKETS conflict ? HELP !

Post by W. Minen » Thu, 21 May 1992 00:58:30

I am using:

Hardware:       SNI wx200 (CPU Intel 386)
Software:       INTERACTIVE UNIX System V/386 3.2
                X11R4 (binaries from INTERACTIVE)

 I am working on shared window systems. I have a pseudo X server that does
this "sharing". This pseudo server uses sockets to communicate with the world.
The X11R4 version that I have uses unluckily TLI as network interface.
The pseudo server can sure connect to X server, but local X clients (use TLI)
cannot open local (!!) connection with the pseudo server (uses sockets).
 If I run X clients in the network connecting on pseudo server then there are
no problem.
 Is there any way to slove this problem ? Or must I port the pseudo server
on TLI ? Please HELP !!

Please answers per e-mail !
