When my UDB was connected to the net via modem, it did IP Masq just fine. ButQuote:>I have been trying for months to do IP Masquerading on my multia. I

ipfwadm -F -a accept -m -S 192.168.1.0/24 -D 0.0.0.0/0
I get
ipfwadm: setsockopt failed: Protocol not available.
I am running Debian 2.0

Then you are not running a kernel with ip_masq compiled in.Quote:>I have tried kernels 2.0.30, 2.0.32 and 2.0.35. I can get them all to

I'm using 1.2.124 on my alcor with "ipmasq" package. works
like a charm :). Do mail me if you want my kernel config.
I'm pretty surprised that Manoj's "kernel-package" works
like a charm here too (like it did in i386) :).
Me too... so dun give up :).Quote:> I am running Debian 2.0

Just me,
Wire ...
1. ipmasq: FTP and Hotline behind ipmasq firewall.
I have lots of trouble trying to put ftp and hotline servers behind a
ipmasq firewall. FTP don't work in browsers...ok I accept that. Hotline
?? There must be a workaround. While I continue to put my hair out,
anyone able to do those ??
Note: Tried redir, ipportfw...no go... :( only the www server complied.
Thanks
