disklabel -d /dev/sd0i partitions

disklabel -d /dev/sd0i partitions

Hi

I installed 3.2 on my friend's 36.7GB sd0 at offset 63 to 1.5GB.  My problem is
trying to label the FAT partitions for mounting because "disklabel sd0" only
shows sd0a to sd0f.  Meanwhile, "disklabel -nd sd0" will show the rest of the
FAT partitions.

So, how do I configure those devices or label the FAT partitions for mounting
without corrupting the data or requiring to format?

Did I overwrite something that prevents disklabel from normally reading beyond
sd0h partitions?

Thanks much, in advance!

I've found an old BSD FAQ that provides a workaround for this problem.
Unfortunately, it's a little late after installing 3.2.

1. disklabel: partition c: partition extends past end of unit

Hello,

I am currently running OpenBSD 3.2/i386 on a Quantum Fireball 3.2
GB IDE HD. The problem I am seeing is that I would like to change my
partitioning using disklabel -R -r wd0 /tmp/disklabel.wd0 but somehow it
doesn't change anything, I am doing that as root no worry. I think this
is because of a strange error which appears in my disklabel output as
you can see here:

% sudo disklabel wd0

disklabel: partition c: partition extends past end of unit

see that last message: disklabel: partition c: partition extends past
end of unit ?? What's wrong ?? How can I fix that ? I really need to add
new partitions to my disk...

Many thanks for the help
