Configing a 3Com EtherLInk III card for OBSD...

Yep, I know that this is not the best card around, but...  that is what
I got...

I am advised to turn off the PnP mode of this card using a 3Com
utility.  The catch then is to match up the IRQ & I/O settings.  To make
life a little more complicated, I am actually using this card to do a
network install of OBSD (duh!).  So I do not have access to the OBSD
config.  Would some kind soul advise me what the OBSD settings are for
these parameters in the install kernel.  Note I am using the floppy27
image.

Sure, here is a copy of the 2.6 GENERIC i386 config file.  I assume that
it is very
similar to the 2.7 release ??  The base address and irq for your card
should be in there somewhere.
