I am receiving this on my linux box. It is actually not a Redhat
machine, but a Mandrake 8.0. The machine has run fine for over a year
and now I am getting this. If I restart syslog manually I get the
same thing. If I 'df /var' it tells me that it is mounted on / and
that there is only 16% used. I also noticed that if I try to mount a
floppy I get the following. I don't know if these are related or not.
When I try to mount /dev/fd0 /mnt/floppy, I get the following:
read_super_block: can't find a reiserfs filesystem on dev 02:00
read_old_super_block: try to find super block in old location
read_old_super_block: can't find a reiserfs filesystem on dev 02:00
I know this disk is good because it will mount on another machine.
The floppy on the machine is good because it will boot with a boot
disk. Any information would greatly be appreciated.
Thanks,
Scott Mayo
