I am getting this message every time FTP session (proftpd) is
established.

May 29 00:00:02 myhost PAM_pwdb[13921]: (ftp) session opened for user
sysuser by (uid=0)
...
I've checked proftpd.conf also, but this is probably PAM issue. Is there
a way to disable this message, since there are 100 messages/minute.
