the "red hat linux bible" is pretty good, but i dont know if it is

i am also not sure about lanuage availability,  but i agree the "Red Hat
Linux Bible" is pretty good, also any of the "unleased" books are usually
pretty good. But don't forget about all of the documentation available on
the net. Also Red Hat has their user manuals posted on their website(if u
just need info specific to rh6)...i think.:)

1. Redhat CDE vs. Redhat Linux 6.1

I have just installed Redhat Linux 6.1 and I want to run my Redhat/Triteal
CDE desktop.

I am not familiar with PAM, but from what I understand, there is a problem
with 6.1's version of PAM which won't let me log in to CDE.

If I install an older version of PAM, I can log in, but I have to force the
install, because some programs rely on the newer version of PAM to work
properly.

Does anyone know what I can do so that I can use my CDE desktop?
