RedHat 6.2 RAM utilization

RedHat 6.2 RAM utilization

I recently installed an additional 128MB of RAM on my Red Hat 6.2 (PC
based) system.  How can I make sure that RH recognizes and utilizes all
256MB?  Thanks in advance for any help...

I'm doing this on 7.1, but 6.2 probably isn't any different.

To see how much memory is available:
'cat /proc/meminfo'

To force the compuer to use all your RAM if it isn't already add
the following line to your lilo.conf in the section under 'image=':

append="mem=256m"
