My RH 8.0 disks came with kernel 2.4.18-14. up2date loaded
2.4.18-17.8.0. What are the differences?
Is it worthwhile to recompile and install??

I wonder if anyone can help me pinpoint where this error that
I get in my /var/log/XFree86.0.log comes from?
(II) Got reinsert event: reinitializing PS/2 mouse
When this occurs the cursor jumps to somewhere else on the screen
and its motion does not correspond with mouse movement. Within a
second it behave normally again and the aforementioned error is
added to the logs. This happens about 10 times per hour on average.
Sometimes all at once, sometimes dispersed over time.
Any hints?
