 i changed xinetd.d/telnet and wu-ftp , "disable = yes". shutdown the ipchains
it looks ok!

but i now can not telnet my hosts 25 ports.
 if i type " telnet localhost 25 " i can into it.
 if i type " telnet hostname 25 " i get messages " connected refused  "

 i try changed /etc/sendmail.cf

  and  change "O DaemonPortOptions=Port=smtp,Addr=127.0.0.1   ,Name=MTA"

       to    " O DaemonPortOptions=Port=smtp,Addr=x.x.x.x   ,Name=MTA "

 and change  "O Timeout.connect=1m " to "O Timeout.connect=10m "

IT IS NO USE .and i changed it back but when  i telnet localhost 25 , it is
also FAILER !!!

In the process of making the default configuration more secure, Red
Hat changed the default setup so that sendmail now only listens to the
loopback device.  I believe they talk about this somewhere in the
release notes.  Have a look, and see if you can figure out how to
solve it.

I would start first by with this:
Red Hat 7.1 ships with a firewall.  By default it is enabled.  As root and
from a term, execute lokkit then select customize.  Enable the services you
need from the box or disable it if you have no need for a firewall.
