Hi

A still evolving Linux Newbie.
Does RH 7.x require drivers for 3Com905B-TX-NM NIC card?  If yes where
do i find them and howto install them?

Support for that card is in the 2.2.19 and all 2.4 kernels,
you shouldn't have any problems.

1. Scsi driver timeout on rh 7.1 & 7.2

On 2 servers running redhat 7.1 and 7.2, I have scsi timeout errors on
nst0 while backuping high volumes (whole disk for ex.).
Both servers are using an Adaptec SCSI card (2904) (chipset aic 785x)
and a Sony dat 12-24 go (sdt9000).
Is there a know issues with this card or drivers ? Same problems
occurs on 2 differents distrib...
I'm installing specific programs on this server, so I can't install
recent version of RH.
