Ho tempo solo per mandarti quanto segue. Spero che basti. Chiedimi se
ti servono anche epsf e rotate. Ciao. Giuseppe.

1. how to place a figure caption opposite of figure?

Hi there,

can somebody tell me how I can achieve the following layout:

 left page          right page

 --------------   --------------
 |   ...      |   |            |
 |  ..text..  |   |            |
 |   ...      |   |            |
 |   ...      |   |   figure   |
 |            |   |            |
 |            |   |            |
 |  caption   |   |            |
 |            |   |            |
 -------------    --------------

thus, on the left side text and at the base the caption
for the figure on the opposite side.

Which commands or packages do I have to use?

many regards in advance
florian
