Please, tell me where can I find a new article.sty version without this problem?

There is a problem with the article.sty (21-DEC-1992), which I ftp'ed from
ymir.claremont.edu.
There isn't an article.sty file dated 21-DEC-1992. The most recent one
is dated January 14, 1992.
The problem has to do with the bibliography.
If you specify two or more files in the \bibliography command,
the cite numbers are all 0.
This is a problem of incompatible versions. You cannot upgrade to one
of the newer releases of article.sty with upgrading latex.tex (and all
other files) as well.
It says so in the readme file.

1. Response to the articles entitled a4.sty & article.sty.

I have used the a4 option successfully with the article style. However, the
printout still looks funny. The space at top of the page is quite wide (>5cm),
while the space at the bottom of the page is too narrow, (about 1cm from the
page number). Could that be because our printer (Apple laserwriter II NTX)
still thinks the page is in American format?
