Does anyone know of any diagnostic tools for hardware (Processor,
memory, harddrive, I/O ...) in linux? Thanks in advance.

there are group of command line utilities
as well if you have proc file system
more /proc/cpuinfo /proc/pci

or lspci
and try hdparm

hdparm -i /dev/hda
