Flooding Network with Linux...

Post by Michael Nels » Mon, 11 Jul 1994 03:21:59

Is there any sure fire way to completely saturate a network with one Linux
box (486/33, 3Com 3C509), progmatically? I'm developing some TCP/IP-based
information tools for our network and would like to see the performance
when the network is completely (or nearly) saturated... I would like to
test this before "live people" start using the network (we are installing
it now) in a couple of weeks.

Thanks!
