Try a utility called SAR (Search And Rescue). Should be available on both
sunsite.unc.edu and tsx-11.mit.edu, though in somewhat different locations.
One of them has it in a subdirectory called rescue. Sorry, don't remember
which one right now and I am forced to do news and mail from the DOS side
of my machine for now. SAR lets you make multi-floppy rescue sets including
boot/root combinations with programs on the root file system that you
specify. Hope this helps.
