I'm running linux 1.1.45 (originally InfoMagic 1.1.18) with
termcap version 1.1.
Wrong attributes are being used on characters for users
dialing-in. For example, sometimes the screen gets inversed. Sometimes
characters that are supposed to be inversed aren't (and characters that
aren't, are.) Sometimes everything works (for a while.)
It doesn't matter if the term is set for ANSI, VT100, or VT102.
These little glitches still happen. Character placement works fine --
even for curses-based games.
When I dial-in to my own system from the console (using a VT-100
emulator), everything works fine. It's only remote users who are having
this problem -- and it's all users with all different types of software
(so it's not their fault.)
Anyone know what's going on, and how this can be fixed?
