Still cant get ftape at any level to work with dj20 (jumbo 250)
ftape drive *sigh* ... I captured the console error messages for
the following, using an ftape-0.9.10a ftape.o module.

mt -f /dev/ftape rewind
mt -f /dev/ftape fsf 0
cd /
tar cvXf /root/tar.exclude /dev/ftape .

(excluded were the proc dos and hdb1 mount points, so only root partition
was to be tared).
