libc image-2.5.26.tar.gz

libc image-2.5.26.tar.gz

Post by Allan Clearwate » Wed, 25 May 1994 23:48:01

Has anyone else noticed that the image for libc-2.5.26 is corrupt??  I
tried to unpack it yesterday and found that tar barfed over it.
However, I loaded the source and build the libraries locally OK.

1. image-4.4.4.tar.gz without /usr/lib/ ?

I installed the image-4.4.4.tar.gz, and anything is well except
my bash-1.13-binary complains about /usr/lib/ being version 4.1.

That is true, because only /lib/ and /usr/lib/libc.a are
new, /usr/lib/ is still the old version

Should it be replaced, and with what?

Cheers, Michael Will
PS: since this is probably a very silly question, please reply via
