Is there any way to persuade tin to post offline, ie to queue up
postings for when I actually connected to my local POP?

: If you are a UUCP node, what is your problem? I keep a local cnews
: system running, exchanging articles via UUCP. That is as offline
: as you can think.

What is not stated here is that one must have CNEWS installed and properly
configured. TIN posts to the local newsbase, and it's up to CNEWS to collect
and forward articles.

1. offline posting with tin

Hello,

Because i have a slip-connection via modem to my provider, i want to
spool an article and send it *later* with suck. Is this possible with
tin, cnews and suck? How must i configure or compile tin? My article
never ends in /news/out.going/nadia/togo (nadia is my providers's host)

Thank you for any answers
