Can anyoune tell how to set the sort order in the konqueror / bookmarks
pull down menu?
I would like to have the folders first and than simple bookmarks. Both
sections I would like to have in alpfabetical order, but I don't know
how to set.

The easiest way out is to do a rename of all your folder by adding a
space in from of the foldername. Then highlight "Bookmarks" at the top
of the list and use "Edit"|"Sort alphabetically".
