KDE 2.2.1 and Linux 2.4.10 and ksysguard

I've been running KDE 2.2.1 since it came out (compiled from sources)
and it's been working great! Then I upgraded my kernel to 2.4.10 and
the ksysguard applets on the kicker stopped working. They just show a
blank gray square. Tried re-compiling kdebase but still no worky.

Any ksysguard experts out there? I can't imagine the API to the kernel
has changed...

Thanks

Perhaps you need to reinstall lm_sensors, ksysguard needs it.

Hmmm, never had lm_sensors installed before and it worked.

You probably did but did not know it. As far as I know Ksysguard cant work
without it and it certainly doesn't here. Maybe it is possible that if it
was compiled from the start without lmsensors it may work but with limited
functionaly ie: No network ports in/out displays,cpu speed/cache no HDrive
in/out etc.
Lm sensors comes installed on a lot of systems and with some kernels AFAIK.

1. VM: 2.4.10 vs. 2.4.10-ac2 and qsort()

Just rip it off NetBSD and there you go. (FreeBSD's breaks on machines
like SPARC, NetBSD's does not.)
