Post by Darren M. Wigle » Sat, 22 Jan 2000 04:00:00

I just started using linux and KDE via Slackware 7.  I used the theme
manager to install the LCARS theme that you can download from the KDE
theme site.  and I wanted to go back to the defaults but some of the
ICONS from the LCARS theme still remain how do I get rid of these and go
back to the default?

1. KDE Splash Won't go Away

I'm running KDE 3.0.5a (Red Hat 8.0).

Suddenly, when I boot KDE, the splash screen won't go away. I can click on
it and it will then go away and all seems normal. But it won't go away on
it's own after booting KDE.

How do I fix it?
