LDAP Problems

Post by Marco Augusti » Fri, 27 Jun 2003 00:25:16

Hello,

I'm using KAddressBook version 3.1 and I'm having trouble to access
our Windows LDAP server.
My configuration is set up to run on port 3268. If I leave the base DN
field empty and I search after something. I only get the schema: in other
words the builtin groups, not the users themselves.
I've tried everything possible in the base DN field, like
DC=chs-augustin,DC=com etc... but with no luck, KAddressBook finds
nothing.
Where is the problem with my config. Has anybody makes experiences with
LDAP?

Thanks in advance
Marco Augustin

1. LDAP problem in SuSE 7.1 ftp

Hi.

I have a very hard time to configure SuSE 7.1
PAM to accept LDAP authentication...
Can you please help me with /etc/pam.d/ftp and
/etc/pam.d/login ?
I would like to connect to Suse's 7.1 ftp server and
be able to authenticate over LDAP. I kinda figured
out the "login" but I have no clue on the 'pam ftp'.

Thank you,
Alex.
