Keyboard shortcuts

I'm currious if there exists a way to make a keyboard shortcut under kwm to
pop up an application.  For example, I tend to set the windows keys on most
keyboards to pop up an rxvt (keys should not be wasted, and it saves time).
kwm seems to allow keyboard shortcuts for a number of operations within the
wm, but I can't seem to find any documentation on how to create a keyboard
shortcut to pop up external apps.  Did I miss something?

I've been told that you can change the Xmodmap to raise
the respective signals that some GUI's/Window Managers
are able to deal with. However, I couln't figure out
how to do this under KDE. So I wrote a little programm
that is intended to assign system commands to the M$ wintendo keys.

The command line
   xwinkeys  -w "kvt &"  -m "kppp -q -c AccountName &"
lets the menu key become a `connect' key and the windows keys
launch a KDE terminal.

1. enlightenment keyboard shortcuts Q's: using the win key, using c+a+sh, conf file?

Hi,

I like the keyboard shortcuts in enlightenment, however, I'm runing into a
few problems:

1. I can't use the WIN key for any shortcuts. For example, I would like WIN
to open the menu (like windows)
2. I tried setting keys to Ctrl + Alt + Shift + <some key>. They work while
I'm in session, but as soon as I log out, they get changed to Ctrl + Shift.
Even if I save the session.
3. When I change settings, do they get stored in some conf file? That would
be nice so that I could perform edits to import changes quickly instead of
going through the GUI. I grepped on obvious strings, but I couldn't find a
configuration file.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

David
