I have recently upgraded to kde2.2 (on SuSE 6.4). Unfortunately I now find
that whenever I try to add an attachments to a message using kmail 1.2 (or
knode 0.4) kmail (or knode) crashes.

Has anyone else seen this problem?

I finally got 2.2 installed on Redhat 7.1. KMail and KNode work fine with
attachments as far as I can tell. No problems yet anyway.

I had this problem until I installed kdenetwork2.2x - for some reason I was
getting dep. probs. during the initial upgrade of KDE, so I left that one
off... Come to find out, kdenetwork had something to do with MIME types or
whatnot... It was fixed after installing it. Another prob I was having
before I installed it, was that all of my emails were coming in with the
MIME/Header info at the top of the emails in text..

Have just installed kdenetwork2.2 which seems to provide kmail 1.3 and it
is all working now. I had all sorts of dep problems too and must have
skipped kdenetwork as well.
