#1) the new SuSE is great... never seen such an easy
linux-installation!! it was like a 6 or 7 click type
of installation... and it didnt have any problems with
my hardware, although im running it on a laptop...
#2) but now to my problem: i had to manually install
the sound-card drivers (for the ESS1869) (not really
manually... i used yast2, but i had to fill all the
adresses and stuff in) this works fine!! when i hit
"test sound" i hear a great piece of some kind of
melody...
i dont get kde to use it though... it did work for
some kind of system-beep, but thats it... what can i
do?? i tried all different settings, and didnt find no
information on the net about this problem!!
