Very Computer

I've got very strange problem with konqueror in kde 3.0.
When I browse web pages; everything is fine and texts/images rendered
quite well.
When I browse my directories, it doesn't list anything claiming that
there are no files in any directories. I tried change fonts, it didn't
help.
Any idea what's wrong?
I didn't have problems compiling kdebase. At least visible.

Maybe its an strange filterproblem. Go to "Tools"|"View Filter" and
choose "Reset" at the button of the menu. If the "Reset" option is
grayed out then choose one of the filetypes present, repeat and now The
"Reset" option is there.
