Does anyone know what setting (and in what file) gives the 3-D look to the
toolbars in Konqueror? root has it, I don't, and I can't figure out what
setting to change to get it. I've been all through all of the
"Properties" and "Settings" dialogs I can find.

The appearance of the toolbars is determined by the KDE-wide settings
in Control Center -> Look and Feel -> Style

And the Crystal icon set has more of a 3D look. It will become the KDE
standard in the 3.1 release IIRC.

Thanks. I tried a few of the styles, and found what I was looking for in
the "High color default" style-- a gentle shading from top to bottom.
