Advice on installing Mosfet Liquid with KDE 2.2

Post by Warren Bel » Wed, 12 Sep 2001 01:26:59

I'm running KDE 2.2 on RH 7.1 and have KDE installed with RPMs.  I'm
trying to install the Mosfet high performance liquid style engine/theme
0.5.1 and I can't get it to work right.  I install it with prefix=/usr
and the install goes smooth with no errors.  I go into the control
center and eveything's there.  I can set the widget style to liquid and
it works fine but when I set the titlebar style to liquid no titlebar
shows up.  It's just a window border all the way around the app with no
titlebar or titlebar buttons.

Anyone know how to fix this?  Could it be it's not putting some files in
the right place because it doesn't know where to look in an RPM
installation?

1. Compiling Mosfet's Liquid KDE theme

I'm getting the following while trying to make the FreeBSD port of the
Liquid KDE theme. Any ideas?

FreeBSD 4.3-RELEASE
QT version 2.3.1
X version 4.1.0
KDE version 2.2
