When i want to install kdesupport-2.0-1.i386.rpm, i've got a dependencie
error:
    libuulib.so.5 is needed by kdenetwork-1.1.2-17 ??
What's the order to install KDE2 RPMs?
Do i need to remove KDE1?

Thanks a lot...
Remy.

In my experience, yes you have to remove kde 1. There may be another way,
however, I don't know it. :)

You should upgrade all of kde....why do you have kdenetwork at 1.1.2. If
you
get all the kde2 rpm's and do rpm -Uvh *.rpm   then everything should
work.
We do not yet have kde1-compat package (which is coming), which would
allow
you to run both. Also rpm command has --nodeps and --force switches that
would
force things but read the messages first.

1. Upgrading from KDE2.0 to KDE2.1

You've convinced me: I want to upgrade from 2.0 to 2.1. And I want to do it
completely. (I've experienced many problems in the past with "upgrades").

So first, I want to wipe 2.0 off my system completely. How do I do that? Is
it sufficient to uninstall (rpm -e) all the kde packages?

Then, I want to install KDE2.1, notably the apps (especially koffice,
knetwork (I think - kmail/knode/konqueror, etc) ). Can I do this by installing
the appropriate RPMs (from where?) or should I get the sources and compile
everything? (If the latter, how do I convince rpm that I have the resulting
apps/libraries/etc. installed?) And will installing the rpms or compiled sources
set up the config files, etc.?

Thanks for any help!
