I've tried to import my address book into Kmail 2.1.1 in *.ldif format and
*.pab format. Kmail import tells me that the import has finished but when I
go to Kmail and open the adress book, its empty. Can anyone shed any light
on this?

Fixed - didn't realise that I had to specify the type of address book in
Settings!
