If KDE hangs 7 out of 10 times you try and start it, most likely you're
using one of: a malloc that initializes its memory to something other
than
0x0 (change it), or XFree86 4.0 (upgrade to 4.0.1 or newer).
4.0.1 should be ok.

Hi Guys !
I could not compile KDE-1.92 on XFree-4.0.1 and Debian :(
So I'm trying KDE-1.1.2 on XFree-4.0.1.
I used the deb packages of KDE. Evrything is fine.
But kdm can not find the command : parse-xf86config
Is it a command from the XFree-3.3.X serie ? What can I do to replace it ?
