Changing M-<TAB> keybinding

Changing M-<TAB> keybinding

Post by Marcel Schmittfu » Thu, 19 Dec 2002 04:08:32

Hi
I use KDE 3.0 and I want to change the M-<TAB> keybinding (i.e. the
"switch window" keybinding). On my German keyboard I've to press
"alt"-<TAB>, but I want instead type "windows"-<TAB>. That is to say
that whenever I press "windows"-<TAB>, KDE should  swapp between the
windows.

In addition I want to remove KDE's meaning of "alt"-<TAB> because I
need this keybinding for emacs (see "M-TAB already used by KDE" in
comp.emacs).

TIA !
Marcel

1. How to map <tab> to <sp><sp><sp>?

The subject pretty much says it all.  How do I map a tab to three
spaces?  On SunOS 4.1.3, vi says "Too dangerous to map that" when I do a
':map tab "   "'.
