Very Computer

Hi,
as a newbie Linux & Konq user, I'd appreciate some assistance from the
collective with the following problem.

"some" pages displayed by Konqueror contain nothing but garbage characters
(squares, daggers and other funny stuff). Other pages display just fine.

This started about a week ago. What was I changing at the time? Well, a ton
of stuff to get my HP660C working (hpijs, ghostscript etc etc), but nothing
that I can immediately relate to Konqueror.

Mozilla works fine.

Details are::
RH7.2, kernel 2.4.19
Konqueror 2.2.1 KDE 2.2-11

You could upgrade to KDE 3.0.3. I've got that, and the URL you provided
displays fine.

Thanks for the suggestion. But I'm a bit reluctant to go the KDE 3.0.3 route
due to the shed-load of RPMs involved (assuming I looked at the right URL?)

My current version of Konq used to work fine until I did something to it!

I'm sure everyone elses web browser will display that page OK too. Its just
me with a screwed up file association, or missing font or ??? thats the
problem.

Is it possible for me to re-install the version of Konqueror that I already
have to get back to a "clean" state? (please remember my newbie status so
if the answer is "yes" details of how to do this would also be welcome!)

I also see the same problem with konqueror showing garbage characters. I
am running KDE 3.0.3 and for some reason I still see the problem. Can u
please tell me what I can do to fix the problem? I don't see the same
problem in Mozilla.
