KDE 2.2.1: kdegraphics doesn't compile

Post by Tilman Rass » Tue, 06 Nov 2001 05:49:51

While compiling kdegraphics-2.2.1 on my SuSE 7.0 Linux system, I got the
following error:

c++: /usr/lib/.libs/libsane.so: No such file or directory

In fact, libsane.so is there; but in /usr/lib/ and not in (the non-existing
directory) /usr/lib/.libs.

Is this the "libtool problem with libsane on SuSE 7.0" described in the KDE
Compilation FAQ? Who can help?

Thanks in advance,

1. kde doesn't compile, dcopidl2cpp QDomDocument missing

kdelibs kio will not compile because...
../dcop/dcopidl2cpp/dcopidl2cpp --c++-suffix cpp --no-skel
../dcop/dcopidl2cpp/dcopidl2cpp: error while loading shared libraries:
../dcop/dcopidl2cpp/dcopidl2cpp: undefined symbol: __12QDomDocument
make[3]: *** [kdirnotify_stub.h] Error 127

Any ideas?
