How do you start xfstt? Try without and see what happens.

strange freezes with KDE 1.1

I also get freezes sometimes with my KDE1.1. It's _so_ annoying. I heard there
was a problem with KDE1.1 in relation with the S3 X-server, and that it was
fixed in the latest versions of the redhat RPMs (which I have not upgraded to
:). Maybe there's similar trouble with the Matrox server. Perhaps you should
keep your fingers crossed and wait for KDE1.1.1? :)

1. KDE 1.1 and GIMP 1.1.2 - very strange behaviour

Hi folks,

I've compiled GIMP 1.1.2 on my 2.2.2 Linux/1.1 KDE PC, and everything
has built and installed fine. The problem is that whenever GIMP opens a
window it appears only in the KDE taskbar. If I click on it there then
the window opens properly. Has anyone else noticed this or run GIMP
1.1.2 successfully on a similar setup?

Thanks,

Rob
