"new category"???  Funny, my sniffers seem to have been doing this for
years.  Maybe I'm missing something?

Hi,

INTOUCH NSA reconstructs all user sessions (including the affects of
escape sequences)...and then, in real-time scans the reconstructed
sessions (all automated).  Then, if a given pattern of activity is found
-- takes action.  Such as:

  o  record the session
  o  pop-up a real-time window of the session
  o  disconnect the session

So, that is what makes INTOUCH NSA *different than a sniffer*.

That sounds a lot like IP-Wacher from En Garde, are there any differences/additional features?

But still not a "new class", it's a refinement of an old class.
Ethersniff, IP Watcher, and a lot of custom purpose hacking tools have
been doing this for years, not even getting into the whole spectrum of
host and gateway implementations.  I'm not saying your prodcut isn't good,
or is a sniffer, but I'd hardly call it a "new class of security tool".

Hardly a new catergory.  This technology has been around for years.
There's been plenty of govt projects in this area.  Here's some
commercial software, RealSecure, at http://www.iss.net/RealSecure

You can download RealSecure.
