on sun 2.6 nis - !nis+
whenever I try to change someones password I am prompted for new passwd
retype new passwd and then I am told permission denied on the command
line and an entry that reads 'user not found in the syslog.

This happens no matter what I type:

passwd -r nis USER
passwd USER
yppasswd USER

I am trying all this on the master.

PLEASE HELP
