Setting up a internet Server/service provider

Setting up a internet Server/service provider

Post by st951.. » Wed, 10 May 1995 04:00:00

I have a sunserver 2 with sun4.1.3.  I was thinking of upgrading to
solaris 2.4 and making it available on the net.  Is there any problems
with 2.4, ppp or httpd?  Are there any threats that could damage the
computer?

Any help is appreciated.  Mail me

Thankyou in advance.  Sincerely

I tried, but it "bounced".

First, I suggest that you do a *proper* setup of your DNS (Domain Name
Servers) and your NewsWatcher software, to avoid the use of IP-numbers.
