Is this port for logging in from the console or what?  How would someone
connect to port 113?

tcp/113 is used for identd (RFC-1413).  Just telnet to it and give it a
port-pair.

Could you give an example session, please.  OR format for the query?

Thanks!

1. MASQERADE and IRC auth (port 113)

I've installed masquerading and the IRC_MASQ module successfully, and
the internal (win98) clients have connectivity, but IRC won't function
properly.  I can connect to the server from a client, but the server
can't authenticate me because it can't connect to the IDENT server
within mIRC.

Any suggestions?

Thanks
-Nate
