Which distro is better for PowerPC PReP?

Hi,

I got Motorola RiscPC (with PReP architecture) and need to install linux
on it. What flavour of linux is better and easier to install on this machine?
Now I'm trying LinuxPPC 2000 Q4, cause Debian on PReP can only be
installed through network (sux!)

bye

The SuSE 7.1 PowerPC box set I just bought has a CD for booting a Prep
or
Chrp(sp?) and power3, and the various MacPowerpc boxes..  I have
fought YDL and PPC on a Pbook G3 and a dual G4.. and the difference
between Suse and the others
is Night and Day...  Detailed manual is included..  6 CDs ..
  VERY GOOD!
I can't say enough how pleased i am to have finally made this G4 run
linux,
and dual boot with MacOS9.1 as well..  That was so frustrating, until
I bought Suse.  (they have downloadable versions..  but to me it is
well
worth buying..)
also..  suse has written a LILO for NewWorld macs that shows their
commitment to their product..  It changes the mess required to set up
booting on a mac, to a procedure identical to a PC..  mac LILO edits
the
Open Firmware and bootstrapping info for you..  practically magic!

1. which powerpc distro is better

i have heard that suse, mandrake and debian have powerpc distros. in
comparison with powerpc only distros like yellow dog and linuxppc, how
do they fare? i know that mandrake and suse are famous for their ease of
use, are there powerpc distros as good as their intel x86 distros? how
abt debian, it is famous for the stability of the x86 version.
