Mac: Powerbook G3 Series 300/8 GB/192 RAM
LinuxPPC 1999 v2(CD)
I have planned to use a 1 GB partition (#10 is the correct partition I believe)
My MacOS partition is HFS+ (partition #7)
I have successfully run LinuxLive from the partition(#10)
If I get any error message from pdisk, subsequent commands(1l1) yields
?can1t open.
I have read the docs included on the CD and previously online. I have
posted some questions to other users as well (concerns about using pdisk
to split the target partition into /root/, /user/ and /swap/ and the
integrity of my Mac partitions; no auxilliary storage device to hold my
data).
pdisk output(launched from LinuxPPC CD):
This app uses the SIOUX console library
Choose 'Quit' from the file menu to quit.
Use fake disk names (/dev/scsi<bus>.<id>; i.e. /dev/scsi0.1, /dev/scsi1.3,
etc.).
