ATI Video Cards (Rage Pro) and LinuxPPC 2.1.24

A couple of weeks ago I aksed if people had gotten LinuxPPC working with
ATI cards with Rage Pro chips, however I can only run 2.1.24 on my
machine (DEFAULT CATCH on any other version) so I need to make sure that
people have used them with this version, comments from those using it on
a 6400/Umax Apus/Umax C600 are especially welcome as are comments from
people using any type of video on one of those machines and a Linux
higher than 2.1.24.

Kernel 2.1.121 works on the 6400 with the built-in video.

1. Asante Ethernet card does not work under linuxppc (kernel 2.1.24)

Hi,

I have powerbase 180 with Asante Ethernet card installed. I am running
Kernel 2.1.24. I am not able to get my ethernet card to work. Here is the
message shown when system boots up:


eth0: Cannot find correct PCI device [15] for SROM decoding.

Any help is appreciated.
