MOL: can't load mol.o

Post by Yves LE FEUVR » Sat, 08 Jan 2000 04:00:00

Hello,
I tried using mol with patched kernel 2.2.12 on an umax Apus 2000
mol version is 0.9.24-1
I get the following error message:

Quote:

>Trying to load the Mac-on-Linux kernel module.

>/usr/lib/mol/modules/mol.o: init_module: Device or resource busy

>An error occured while trying to load the Mac-on-Linux kernel module

I get the same error mesage when trying to load the module with insmod.
Thanks for answering

1. mol problems update (was: about to give up on MOL)

For some reason, my System.map for 2.2.18 was not correct.  I let MOL make one.
Now, I can get this far, which is as far as I got with
2.2.15-presomething

Now, MacOS starts up and gives me a system map inconsistent error.  Here
is what is happening in the MOL terminal window:
