Recently i've compiled kernel 2.2.18 on my iMac,
after I boot with the new kernel, i found the
I was using keymaps/mac/mac-us-std.map.gz with
the previous kernel I was using (2.2.18-pre14-
benh), but now seems the kernel need to use
i386/qwerty/defkeymap.map.gz for my iMac.
I tried to use the keymap file
i386/qwerty/defkeymap.map.gz instead of the
previous mac/mac-us-std.map.gz with loadkeys,
most of the keys works
But when I use 'showkey' to test the keycode, i
found the when i press arrow key, i get 2 keycode
returned. (suppose to be only one, right?)
press left arrow key: 105 96, 75
press keypad 4: 75 75
If one key stroke generate 2 keycodes, how can I
make a keymap file for those keys?
what should I do to make keyboard works with
2.2.18 kernel on a iMac? Or, should I use some
special settings to compile the kernel?
I enabled USB keyboard and mouse in the kernel
configuration by using "make menuconfig".
