Upgrading YDL 2.2 -> YDL 2.3

Upgrading YDL 2.2 -> YDL 2.3

I just received the YDL 2.3 CDs and I want to upgrade from YDL 2.2, what
is the best way? Can I boot up from the YDL 2.3 CD and it will upgrade it or
do I have to do a full reinstall? I really don't want to do a reinstall.

You really do :) Save yourself hours of grief: back up your user data
if its not on its own partition and reinstall from scratch.  You'll be
back up and running in much less time than you think, with a much
cleaner system than you'll ever get by trying to update individual
packages.  On my system it took under 2 hours, total, to install and
fully configure 2.3 from scratch, including all the local fixes and
local data from the 2.2 installation it replaced.

1. YDL 2.2 Upgrade to YDL 2.3

I am currently running YDL 2.2 PowerMac G4 and I want to upgrade to
YDL 2.3. I have my system partitioned to triple boot YDL 2.2, Mac OS 9,
Mac OS X. Can I upgrade to YDL 2.3 with having to reinstall all my
software? If I just get the YDL 2.3 CD is there a upgrade option?

Any help would be appreciated,

Oscar
